NexVentur is looking to hire a Project Engineer in Roscommon town to join our clients’ team.

Our client has evolved into a company that provides mechanical engineering services to industrial projects including the commercial, retail, industrial and pharmaceutical sectors.

They provide a high quality, cost effective and reliable service to all our customers through excellent workmanship and dedication by staff to achieving the highest national and international standards for the projects carried out.

Role and Requirements

• Report to the Project Manager on project progress, risks and issues.
• Managing Autocad Drawings and co-ordination of services
• Attend progress meetings on site and liaise with main contractor and consultant engineer
• Liaise with the suppliers/specialist contractors to ensure equipment is successfully commissioned.
• Ability to develop and review mechanical design with project team.
• Design reviews, validate equipment and systems.
• Manage technical submittals and procurement including purchasing of materials

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

• Hold a degree in Mechanical Building Services Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• 2+ years’ experience in a Mechanical Engineering role preferred
• Excellent timekeeping and communication skills
• Ability to work among part of a team and on own initiative
• Excellent IT skills required.
• Experience in Revit would be advantageous.
• Full clean drivers licence
