NexVentur is looking to hire a Site Engineer to join our clients’ team covering sites in the South East of the country.

Our client is growing in the residential construction and has ongoing and upcoming residential developments with at least 3 years’ work planned.

The ideal candidate for this position will have a good knowledge of Irish construction, Irish Water requirements and construction duties.

Role and Requirements

• Ability to set out according to drawings, site surveys, as-built drawing
• Providing support and information to both the project and contract management teams as well as the teams on the ground.
• Ensure that all works are carried out to the highest Health and Safety standard
• Ensuring that the design information and intent is understood and adhered to
• Reporting to Senior Engineer and Site Manager to ensure that work is carried out in a timely manner
• Quality control & record keeping
• Maintaining the site records – site diary, concrete register, records of deliveries etc.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

• Degree in Engineering or Construction Management
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a site engineer
• Construction project / residential build experience
• Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and Irish Water installation.
• Experience in Microsoft office & other computer programmes
