What items can you send to Australia?

• Australian customs has some very specific rules and it’s important to note a few things. Air cargo regulations prohibit sending any devices containing a battery. Batteries of any type, loose or within devices, must not be sent on this route.
• Australia has a strict biosecurity policy which requires that certain items undergo customs quarantine inspections and will result in delays and potentially additional inspection fees. The likes of food and wooden products and anything that may have been in contact with plants and animals outside of Australia may be subject to scrutiny. So items such as shoes, bicycle tyres and other sports equipment need to be cleaned very thoroughly or they could be refused or confiscated.
• Shipments with a weight under 100kgs should have a declared value of their present day value whilst shipments over 100kg should have a declared value of at least A$1000.

What items can you send to Ireland?

• You will need to pay a €20 personal effects clearance fee when shipping personal effects. This is payable directly to the courier partner prior to delivery being attempted.
• You may be ask you to open your bag for a security inspection when the driver collects.
• Remember: no batteries as air cargo regulations prohibit items containing batteries.
